“The activities in this trip were fun and very well organized, but beware, it IS a super long day (17+ hours). The day is full of activities and flies by, but the return ride home drags on forever. We were picked up at 4:30a and dropped off at 9:45p. We booked an English tour but we were the only 2 English speaking passengers out of 32 on this trip. The guide did the entire tour in Spanish and then came and gave us a shortened description in English. It wasn't ideal and made us feel isolated as it did not allow us to mingle with other passengers on this tour.…”

“We enjoyed this trip! It is a very long day, we started at 4:50am and ended at 11pm so be prepared for that. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. Remember to bring cash for bathroom stops! The food stops we went to were able to accept credit cards but for the bathroom and souvenirs you’ll need cash. Also if you’re sensitive to the sun like I am, make sure to wear comfortable covering clothes, a hat, and sunscreen. When you’re off the bus the sun is very unforgiving! The tour was private, which we didn't actually realise until the activity started, which was obviously a huge plus. It's a huge complex with ruins from several different civilisations from Lima's past, with good information on each of these being given in the on-site museum, which our guide took us round. There were also very few visitors, giving us time to take things in and making the whole experience feel very private.…”
