“It was my favourite part of the holiday. Our tour guide, Tito, was brilliant. He answered questions and knew plenty about the surrounding areas. You will see plenty of wildlife, but please do not expect to see a wild jaguar or anaconda. It is extremely rare. People have been working in these areas for many years without spotting such animals, and you will only be there for a few days. It is possible, as a group (not mine, unfortunately) did spot a wild Puma while we were there. You will have an activity packed 4 days, and you will love it. I highly recommend this tour company.”

“In de oxhten ga je de zipline met de bruggen waar je overheen moet lopen doen dit was leuk vond ik (aanrader als je iets van een tas of kleren bij hebt laat die op het begin liggen want je komt daar teug voor de lunch) Voordat je naar het apen eiland gaat heb je eerst 2,5 uur pauze omdat je zo vroeg klaar bent met de zipline. Naar het apen eiland vaar je 30 min heen om vervolgens 15 min op het eiland te zijn en niet eens gerantie hebt om een aap te voeren want er zijn er niet veel. Er komen op het apen eiland ook heel…”

The walk next door to meet a local indigenous family was pure exploitation & an embarrassment to be a part of. The fishing expedition - a troll down the incredibly polluted river to through a stick & nylon line over the edge of the boat while parked behind a large rock….we caught garbage & 4” bottom feeders. The suspended bridge walk & zip line - an initiative built by the lodge - first 2 bridges are relatively safe but the 3rd consists of 2x4’s nailed together to go…”

Our guide Jersey was very knowledgeable and was able to spot animals around us which we could not. The only small downfall was that his english was sometimes a bit hard to understand. The accommodation was very comfortable, with a canopy walk we could use anytime, hammocks on the terrace, free water, tea and coffee, all surrounded by jungle with lots of animals around. The beds were comfy and equipped with mosquito nets. The food was very good. The stuff went above and beyond to take care of…”
